We are so excited to be hosting the NENA Adult League Finals this year! Coach Keenan has put a lot of thought behind it to give you all the best experience possible. Below is all the information about the format, stages and timing.

Format: The competition will be broken down into three stages of mixed competition formats with eliminations after the second stage. The final podium and winner will only be determined by the results of Stage 3. The formats of each stage can be found below.

Stage 1: The first stage will consist of eight “Skills” that consist of singular obstacles. All athletes will get 15 minutes to continuously attempt these skills until they have cleared all obstacles or the time has run out. Athletes will earn extra points for clearing obstacles with fewer tries. Athlete’s scores will determine the run order for Stage 2.

Stage 2: Stage Two will consist of 10 obstacles and use a retry fail system. Each athlete will get two tries on each obstacle, but will also be able to continue their run for fun after they fail. The top 5 athletes of each gender and division will advance to the final stage.

Stage 3: The final stage will be conducted in an isolation format. After the course walkthrough, competitors will be restricted to a warm-up area with no knowledge of how other competitors do on the course until after they have already run themselves. This stage will test both competitors’ grip and technical abilities in a course without a time limit, only a rest timer. This stage will determine the podium for the Tier 3 Finals.
